Sunrise Doubles Lab
Doubles before work. Each week takes one situation and drills it until it is automatic, then you play.
- One theme a week: formations, serving and returning, poaching and signalling, defending the lob, or the middle ball nobody takes.
- Drilled in a small group until the decision is automatic rather than discussed.
- Then sets, using it.
By December: You and your partner stop leaving the middle open, and you win more of the doubles you already play.
If you are still building a consistent rally, Adult Beginner is the better starting point. See that class

What happens after you press Register
You enroll and pay for our group programs through the City of Laguna Beach, not here. About five minutes, and you do it once.
You will make a City account
Rec1 is the City of Laguna Beach's registration system, not ours. On your first visit it asks you to create a sign-on: a name, an email, a password. A couple of minutes, once, and it covers every City program from then on.
Payment is due when you register
Find Laguna Beach Tennis Academy in the catalog, choose your class and how many days a week, and check out. The City takes the money, not LBTA. There is no invoice afterwards and no deposit option.
The City tells us the moment you are in. We confirm your days, your court and your coach before the first session.
